This powerful, passionate play on human trafficking tells the amazing story of this global movement of ordinary activists from around the world, who believe that people should not be bought and sold.

Set up in 2006, STOP THE TRAFFIK is a growing global movement of individuals, communities and organisations fighting to prevent the sale of people, protect the trafficked, prosecute the traffickers and engage with communities and professionals to create an environment where it is harder to traffic, hide and exploit people.

Phil Lane, the co-founder of STOP THE TRAFFIK said, "The play explores some of the stories which inspired the birth of the movement, and reveals their determination to get the one million signatures they promised which would enable them to go to the UN and call on governments to fight trafficking".

Lynda Taylor, Operations Director at dbda said, "It is always a pleasure to work with Mark, an inspirational drama teacher and playwright, especially on this very important issue".
